Anushka Sharma

Anushka Sharon is an Bollywood actor and producer. She has been recognized for acting and as one of the best-paid Bollywood actresses. In addition, she is an ambassador for several brands and has her own clothing line for women that is called Nush. Forbes Magazine also featured her. Anushka Sharma was born on May 1, 1988, at Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh. She is the daughter of Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka's dad is a colonel-retd. The mother of the child is also a homemaker. Anushka's elder brother Karnesh Sharma was a member of the Merchant Navy and now is a film producer. Anushka has completed her studies at Army School in Bangalore, followed by a Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) at Mount Carmel College. Anushka holds a Master of Arts Degree in the field of Economics. Anushka has always wanted to become journalist or model, and never an actor. Anushka joined Elite Model Management after graduating and underwent training by Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. Anushka was selected for the show by Wendell Rodricks as the final model for his Les Vamps Show, which took place during Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. Since her modelling debut at Lakme Fashion Week Anushka did numerous campaigns for various brands, her campaigns for the brands' Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry and Fiat Palio etc. Anushka started auditioning films and joined an acting academy in addition to her work as model. Anushka appeared in an acting role in a film by Shah Rukh Khan opposite Anushka. To prepare herself for the screen-test, Anushka Sharma took all day. Later, she was signed to three films with Yash Raj Films. In the film, she played a young woman who married a middle aged man (the role Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka performed along with Shahid Kapoor and Vi Das, and Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". The film received mixed praises. Anushka was also seen alongside Ranveer in the movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat,' where she played an Punjabi middle class woman who set up her own company. The movie was a huge success and received good reviews. Anushka's contract for three films with Yash Raj Films was completed with the Band Baaja Baraat.
