Sarah discovered her love for acting while in the Prep School. In order to avoid being tardy to practice for field hockey, her drama professor advised her to take a break from her routine in favour of joining the cast of Richard III. This was the moment that Sarah's passion for acting began. Sarah's love for the craft led her to pursue an double major in English and Theatre in Hamilton College. Sarah completed her senior year studying theatre abroad in London and Oxford. Sarah was urged to get educated about the arts through both of her parents. The mother of her is chairperson of the English Department of the Convent of the Sacred Heart Greenwich CT in addition to her father being a painter. The actress has evidently benefited by her talent and natural talents along with her education.
